Biography
As a child Britney attended dance classes and was really great at gymnastics and went on to win many competitions and prizes.

Most of all though Britney loved to sing and at age eight Britney tried out for "MMC" (1989) but was turned down because of age. They did however direct her to an off-Broadway show, "Ruthless", in which she appeared for a two year period as the title character.

At age eleven she again tried out for "MMC" (1989) and this time was accepted as a musketeer along side many stars of today like Justin Timberlake and J.C. Chasez of N*Sync and Ryan Gosling. Her big break came however when she was signed as a Jive Recording Artist in the late 90s and with the release of her debut album, "...Baby One More Time" in the early 1999s Britney became an international star. It had sold thirteen million copies as of July 2001 and her sophomore album, "Oops!...I Did It Again," was released in May of 2000.
