Biography
| Abi is a well known TV presenter and model who occasionally acts and has a very sexy image following her role in a threesome celebrity sex tape. She once hosted a pornographic TV channel and told Britain’s Sunday Mirror "I'm not like those glamour girls who say: 'I'm really dirty, I'm really bad and then just pose around. I really am dirty and bad - I love sex." She hosted a very risqué fitness video and wrote an extremely erotic and somewhat successful novel entitled ‘Ten Fantasies’ and frequently appears in the tabloids and very occasionally in the broadsheet newspapers. Abbe skyrocketed to fame when a boyfriend of hers was accused of rape in 2002 and she stood by him although they later broke up. The boyfriend was found not guilty but his life was left in tatters whereas Abbe who was a nurse at the time moved on to a modeling career in men’s magazines and to greater and greater heights. She landed a plum job on a TV program entitled ‘Richard & Judy’ but was fired when a sex video that she’d made with television presenter John Leslie and another woman found its way onto the internet. Probably not finding it too easy to get a regular TV job at that time she went on to become a presenter for the pornographic TV channel ‘Television X’. Other TV endeavors include training as a chef on the 2004 series of ‘Hell's Kitchen’ and then in 2005 she made an appearance on the UK’s Channel 4 in ‘The Friday Night Project’ as was featured as a regular guest. She appeared in ITV’s ‘Celebrity Love Island' and also in ‘Abi Titmuss’ which was a modern day morality documentary for Channel 4. Besides television she has also modeled for many the UK’s men’s magazines such as ‘FHM’ whose readers by the way voted her #7 in the ‘FHM 100 Sexiest Women in the World 2005’ poll and has appeared in the ‘Nuts’, ‘Zoo’ and ‘Maxim’ magazines as well. She made her first West End appearance on stage in March 2006 in an Arthur Miller play entitled ‘Two Way Mirror’ where she played a prostitute with a multiple personality disorder and it received mostly mediocre reviews. It should be noted however that the tabloid reviews were conducted during the plays preview performances and not on the actual opening night as is usual for West End Productions. She was apparently very taken aback when she discovered that the reviewers would be attending a preview performance and gave a lesser performance than she might otherwise have given. The critics did however say that she ‘she showed great promise and potential and would surely develop into a very capable actress’. She just completed working on a film entitled ‘Goal !’ which should be released in early 2007. A proposed musical satire entitled ‘Being Abi’ which was based on her life was recently cancelled due to concerns voiced by the parents of two of the teenagers who were to appear in it. It was devised by pupils at Boston College Lincolnshire (Abi’s home town) and was scheduled for a three-day run until it was shut down due to concerns regarding the content. |
