Alyson was born in Washington DC and began her acting career in Atlanta at the tender young age of four when she appeared in commercials for companies like McDonald's, Six Flags, and Oreos.

She is an experienced television actress having starred in "Picket Fences" (1992), "Roseanne" (1988), "Touched by an Angel" (1994), "The Torkelsons" (1991) and then in "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" (1997) as Willow Rosenberg after which her career really took off.
